Doxee confirms its leadership in the electronic invoicing market in Italy.
In 2019, Doxee established itself as a reference player in the market. Since then, the Modena-based company has produced and managed 377 million invoices, equal to 18.25% of the entire Italian electronic invoicing traffic.
Despite the financial impact of the COVID-19 emergency on businesses and the reduced volume of electronic invoices exchanged nationwide, in the first five months of 2020, Doxee produced and managed about 97 million invoices for its customers.
Sergio Muratori Casali, CEO of Doxee “The introduction of electronic invoicing is a powerful tool for business, operators, public administrations, and citizens: it has given rise to the digital creation and management of processes, that over time will continue to produce positive effects in terms of innovative digital services, supporting the competitiveness of the entire Italian country system, as well as the birth of a new conscious digital culture”.
Electronic invoicing is a technological, regulatory and fiscal challenge that promotes the automation of processes, the reduction of costs, promotes the speed of transactions and information exchange, and digitizes physical archives.
Thanks to its paperless experience line, doxee offers companies a complete range of tools for the dematerialization of tax and document processes related to Italian and European compliance.
Doxee is also an intermediary for the PEPPOL Access Point, accredited by the Agency for Digital Italy. The Pan-European Public Procurement On-Line (PEPPOL) is a European Commission initiative that aims to identify a set of infrastructural elements and technical specifications that enable and facilitate e-procurement procedures.
