E-Invoicing with Doxee Platform®
Doxee Platform® meets the wave of European B2B and B2G e-invoicing mandates without replacing your ERP or billing system. Invoice data is normalised to the EN 16931 semantic standard, generated in the format each destination requires, validated before dispatch and routed over Doxee’s own certified Peppol Access Point.
Comply with Every European Mandate Without Changing Your ERP
Doxee’s e-invoicing solution sits between your ERP or billing system and every destination a European mandate can send you to. Invoice data arrives in whatever format your systems already produce, is normalised into the EN 16931 canonical model, and is generated as the format the destination country requires — XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, Factur-X or Peppol BIS. Every document is validated against the official national rulesets before dispatch, then routed to the right channel: the Peppol network through Doxee’s own certified Access Point, a government platform, email or a partner connector. Inbound supplier invoices run the same blocks in reverse. Built on Doxee’s API-first platform, human-in-the-loop, and processed entirely within the EU.

FAQ
What is Doxee's e-invoicing solution?
A pan-European e-invoicing hub between your ERP and every destination a mandate requires: it normalises invoice data to EN 16931, generates the national format, validates it and routes it.
Do we have to replace our ERP or billing system?
No. Invoice data is taken in whatever format your systems already produce and normalised inside the platform, so one integration serves every market you invoice in.
Which formats are supported?
UBL 2.1 and CII D16B as the two normative syntaxes, plus XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, Factur-X and Peppol BIS 3.0, all generated from the same canonical model.
Which markets does it cover?
Germany, Belgium, France and Austria as country profiles, with cross-border exchange over the Peppol network enabled by default rather than configured per country.
How does it connect to the Peppol network?
Through Doxee’s own certified Peppol Access Point and Service Metadata Publisher, over AS4 transport, with recipient discovery resolved by SMP lookup.
Is the invoice validated before it is sent?
Yes. Every document passes a three-stage gate: the Doxee validator, the official national validator where one exists, and optional customer-specific business rules.
Does it handle inbound supplier invoices too?
Yes. The same blocks run in reverse: multi-channel intake, normalisation, optional validation, push to your ERP, and a structured Invoice Response back to the supplier.
What happens when a recipient rejects an invoice?
The Invoice Response is parsed and surfaced with a structured reason, so finance and operations can correct and retry from the dashboard without engineering involvement.
How are invoices archived?
The platform assembles a per-invoice evidence pack and hands it to a qualified electronic archiving service, which enforces the retention rules of each jurisdiction.
Is a qualified electronic signature applied?
Where a jurisdiction or a contract requires it, qualified signature and timestamping are applied to the invoice, with PAdES, XAdES and CAdES output supported.
